In this mini-intensive, we do an hour of poses that are largely from the various Hatha Yoga traditions along with some light pranayamas. Each week will be a different sequence of poses centered around different outcomes, such as for back and general strengthening, nervous system regulation, five elements, and creating deep states of calm. These are things I do in my own practice, many postures that we do not find in Ashtanga Yoga, or variations on postures you might be used to doing. These classes will also give you a preview of the types of asanas that will be taught in the 2024 Yoga Education Collective teacher training. The classes will be recorded, and you can come to all or choose the days you’d like to attend.
